2nd Princess 2021I just joined Miss Kathu because people were always asking if I'm a model. I just gave it a try and it worked for me because I had lack of self-esteem by mocking that I got from people about my body but Miss kathu helped me to gain confidence and to love myself just the way I am. I also got encouragement of starting something that is my own and now I'm an entrepreneur. Still looking forward to be Miss World one day.

Miss Kathu Charity 2023My beauty with Miss Kathu Charity was focused on educating the youth, raising awareness and eradicating the shame of addiction. Shyness has always been a factor that dims the light in me to shine like a star. But this journey forced me to get out of my comfort zone, face my fears and overcome my shyness. I had an opportunity to touch, liberate, develop and raise a voice to the youth who have taken unpopular decisions. Now I'm mentally grown better and bigger than before. I lend my voice to combat substance abuse and I'm proud knowing that I did my best creating a footprint for others to follow. One thing I learned from Miss Kathu beauty pageant is that, we all aim to win but eventually there's one winner.

The inspiration came from my Great-Grandfather born 1913 who was a former miner worker and believed in the power of education especially for girls. In addition, the women who marched to the Union Buildings in 1956 to fight against the injustice laws that prohibited women and girls from participating in economic activities.
